Great design; mediocre materials and construction
I purchased this organizer box to keep drip irrigation components for my garden in. It was the ONLY thing I could find that offered the kind of capacity, versatility and portability that I need for this purpose, albeit at a fairly steep price. I received it today and just finished loading it up with parts and this is what I have to report.
First, the good news. Someone put a lot of thought into the design of this thing and, I'm happy to say, it suits my needs "almost" perfectly. (More on that "almost" in a moment.) There is plenty of space for all my little bits and pieces and the drawer dividers give me lots of options for keeping things in order. And, of course, when it's closed up nothing can get too disturbed inside if it's tipped over. A good feature!
However, I will have to say I was misled by other reviewer comments regarding quality of materials and construction, which I find somewhat lacking. The grade of plastic used is not what I had expected at this price point and the thickness of the case and drawers is not impressive. For example, I noticed a couple of spots on the back of the box that appear to be lacking in pigmentation (the box is green) and, upon closer inspection, show just how thin the wall thickness is. Also, the bottom shelf, which has the fewest dividers and therefore the least inherent structural integrity, arrived with somewhat warped front and back surfaces apparently from being in hot cargo containers for the last two days. This does not give me much confidence in the unit's ability to withstand sustained direct sunlight which is where it wil be when I'm using it in my garden. This is disappointing, as I will have to try to make sure it stays in the shade when I am using it outside. Oh and one more thing, the finish of the plastic is matte, and as I was loading it with admittedly dusty contents, I noticed that the surfaces soil easily and don't look like they will clean very well.
As for that $55 price point, having been a handyman for over 20 years, I have purchased my share of plastic toolboxes and organizers. Some of these have been in this price range (manufactured by Stanley Works and Craftsman) and have been far better quality. That's pretty much it. I would recommend this product if you have needs as specific as mine and can't find anything else that will work as well, but keep the above point in mind when reading other reviews!

Perfect for my tools.
I live in an apartment, and bought this for my tools. It is bigger than what it looks on here. I got all my tools, my cordless drill, and all my nails and screws and small extra's in it just fine. Very happy, works perfect for what I needed it for.

Not very versatile
While this is a great idea, they took a great bit of versatility away by making the drawers different sizes. I was going to buy this unit to hold all of my Dreml tools and accessories, but I woould rather have all the drawers the same size, as I have many, many Dreml attachments. Sorry, but no thanks.
