Saves the rear car damage
Well this handy device will now save damage to the rear of the car due to not pulling in far enough and having the garage door come down on the rear bumper and scratch the paint. Works well the the laser lite is bright enough to see day or night. Save your paint job and get this quick to install device. I also like that fact that there is a switch so you can switch to one or two car mode.

Total piece of junk
This thing is a total piece of junk. One laser was way out of focus. Attempted to fix it but all the cheap wiring made it impossible. Ended up tossing it in the trash rather than wasting more time shipping the thing back. Don't waste your hard earned $.

AMAZON.COM TERRIBLE, NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT
I can not really say how this product is as I never received it. This has happened in the past dealing with Amazon.com. To get FREE SHIPPING I combined it with another product to get the free shipping. One was not available so the whole order was held until the other item was to be available. That projected ship date was over FIVE (5) WEEKS AWAY. This was the second time this had happened to me. I have since cancelled my account and will NEVER DEAL WITH AMAZON.COM AGAIN.

Laser Parking System
I bought two units from two different venders....I thought that they were different brands and models, but both were the same. After reading several reviews it seem to be the proper thing to do and return the one that was inferior.

The unit works well - the motion sensor is great - even turns on when I let the dog out. I had to do a small modification to the unit so that I could cover both cars on the drivers side. It looks like it was designed to be mounted a lot higher than the average garage.

Modification: I took out the four screws on the back to allow the "ball" mount to drop down. I then took a pair of wire snips and snipped out a small area to expand the swivel angle limits. Reassemble and mount. Works great...

Not perfect but it works well enough...
As other reviewers have noted, the power cord is too short, it needs to be about 5 feet longer. And the motion sensor shuts off too quickly. Ideally, it would stay on much longer when on AC power and only shut down quickly when on battery power.

I have a single garage door, double wide for two cars. To mount the laser for two cars that are pulled in head first, I had to place the unit at an angle relative to the center of the garage (so it was over the hood of one car). Then the laser for the other car was at a severe angle when it hits the car but within the adjustment range of the lasers and the plastic housing.

Overall, it is an ok unit with room for improvement.

This unit replaces an older Instapark laser that used a small solar panel for power. I'd have gotten another unit based on a solar panel if they were still available...
