Larger Capacity Fluid Evacuator The recently introduced Mityvac 07400 Fluid Evacuator is ideal for use in the shop or at home. The 07400 removes all types of fluid in a range of applications from cars, trucks, boats, RVs, ATVs and small engines. The easy-to-use 07400 Fluid Evacuator provides a larger, more durable reservoir than its predecessor the 07200, increasing the fluid capacity to 1.9 gallons (7.3 liters). Its larger base and redesigned foot stabilizer increase steadiness, reducing the chance for spills.The 07400`s durable pump handle has been strengthened to resist fracture and increase product life. Its unit handle has been redesigned with a longer, more comfortable grip, and the pressure relief valve has been relocated for operator convenience.The unit`s polyethylene construction is easy to clean and resists automotive and household chemicals. Requiring no electricity or compressed air to operate its manual pump, the 07400 is light and portable, and its built-in automatic shutoff prevents accidental overfill.APPLICATIONS: Drain engine oil or transmission fluid directly through the dipstick tube. Drain coolants from radiators, and brake and power steering fluids from reservoirs. Use with Mityvac Brake Bleeding Accessory Kit P/N 07205 to bleed brakes lines. Mityvac 7400 Fluid Evacuator
Works great! I ordered this item to change the oil in my wife's new Volvo and avoid the hassle of having to crawl under the car (it has a top mounted oil filter). The Mityvac arrived promptly with no damage; the directions were well written; and within an hour I was changing oil. About 5 pumps removed half the oil and another 5 pumps finished the process. The unit is simple but very well made and a genuine bargain at Amazon's price (with free shipping). The dealer wanted $150 for the 15K service. I completed the job in 30 minutes and barely got my hands dirty. Thanks Amazon!

Mity Wonderful
I am still wondering why I didn't buy one before now. Very handy tool, I used it to evacuate transmission fluid out of car (Toyota V6) and it worked great. Having the suction created on the down stroke makes it easy to use along with the extended foot step. I had to do some metric conversions and mark the side of container with lines, or you could just pour in known quantities of water and mark the sides. Knowing how much liquid you removed is needed for easy exchange. Three tubes included and so far long enough for my usage. The unit advises on a 175 degree rating so I usually wait about half an hour before removal so oil has time to cool off a little, this is also advised since you are really applying a plastic tube to hot metal parts under the hood. I can see many other uses for MityVac and recommend it.

Makes Oil Change so much easier
It drained out more oil from my car than pulling the drain plug underneath, I would definitely recommended to people doing their own oil change since it eliminates the hassle of getting underneath and made the oil change job a easy 30 min job. Built quality of this item is OK, not bad considering it's not that expansive, the price is pretty reasonable for what you receive.
