One complaint
I'll take the manufacturer's word on the performance of the filter but I don't like the newish
added rough surface material on the outside of the filter. The extra thickness of the finish interferes
with an end cap type oil wrench and thus is not helpful in tight situations such as our Civic.

I vote go back to the older blue painted finish.

Update: recently picked up another pair and the "grip" surface on the filter is
thinner and now doesn't interfere with an end cap type filter wrench.

Best quality for the price
I have been looking at oil filters that are not original equipment for a Honda. The Purolator PL14610 PureONE Oil Filter (Pack of 2) has been the highest quality for the money to date that I have found. My experience is similar to other reviewers on the web. The filter certainly works well, especially when I routinely drive 5,000 miles between oil changes. It is easy to install and works.

What's there to say
It's an oil filter, it fits my 2009 Honda Accord (V4 Engine). It did exactly what I wanted it to do, the big benefit is that the price was significantly less than that of Pepboys or another auto parts store, which is why I bought it.

why the label is glued to the oil filter
I just bought this item and haven't used it yet. I give it a temporary 3 star because I noticed that the label is glued onto the product. It look a little fake to my eyes. I don't have much experience with oil filter. At least two other brands I have used all have their brand labels "printed" onto the filter. I did not get a chance yet go to a local store to check out the same model. Just want to be sure what I got are genuine PurolatorOne filter. Any comments are welcomed.

Excellent high-efficiency filter
Same filter fits my 2003 350z and 2005 Outback 2.5XT. I'm not crazy about the new spray-on textured yellow finish. It tends to flake off near the edges next to the gasket. I'm always worried that piece might get in the filter and into my engine. Otherwise, great filter for the money. Anti-drainback valve works well - no cold start-up noise in either car.
