"snug fit"
Measure your steering wheel before you buy this product. It is said to fit up to 15.5" diameter, but that is not true. My wheel is 15.5" and I spent a very long time with more than one person trying to fit it on my wheel. It never fit. I think it would even be hard to get on a 15" wheel. It is made well and the insulation would probably work, but they need to be more honest about the size of wheel it would fit. It seemed like my wheel would have to be at least an inch smaller.

Comfortable Feel
This cover has memory foam inside and it forms to your grim as you drive. If you change your grip, the cover quickly adapts to the new grip. On these frigid winter days we've been having, it's easier to grab the wheel, even without gloves on....not as cold to the touch as it would be without this cover.

It's OK, but...
I like the feel of it, and I like the way it wards off extreme heat and cold, but once you install it don't count on moving it to another vehicle. We got a new vehicle and of course wanted to take the cover to the new one. It tore at the seam as I was trying to remove it (gently, mind you). It was a warm day and it didn't appear to be strained when the seam ripped out- it just ripped with no warning. So, the cover is now in a landfill. For the lack of overall durability I have to give this a 3 star review. If it was more durable I would 5 star it because it's comfortable and it is as described.

If you're going to install it on one car and never remove it, I say go for it.

Would have been great... if it fit.
I bought this for my Dodge Ram with a 15.5 inch steering wheel. It says it is supposed to fit, but I struggled to get it on. The material finally ripped when i nearly had it on. It is on the steering wheel but the firm molding along the inner edge is ripped apart and the foam is exposed. I'm sure this would have worked great on a smaller steering wheel. I wouldn't buy this for a 15.5 inch wheel.

Fit on all of my Toyota Camrys 2001-2009
This is a great steering wheel cover at an excellent price ($10 at time of review). If not for one little annoyance, it would get five stars. That one little annoyance is the seam line... You can actually see it in the bottom left area of the Amazon product photo. The edge kind of sticks up and as you slide your hands around to turn the vehicle, it can poke into you. There are two of them, so it's hard to find a position that's least annoying. I used scissors to cut the little sharp corners off and that helped so that I mostly don't notice it anymore. I never had an odor issue with my cover but apparently that is a problem with some units.

The cover does what it says. It covers your wheel, which may or may not be unsightly. And the bigger issue, the reason I MUST have a steering wheel cover, is that it protects you from the scalding heat of a steering wheel! I live in Southern California, inland, but there have only been a handful of times that the cover itself was too hot to handle. The rest of the time, it's the seatbelt that I'm handling like a hot potato, not the wheel.

The thickness does take some getting used to when you first put it on. It feels a little unwieldy but you should get used to it. Now when I drive someone else's car or a rental, the skinny little hard wheel seems rather foreign to me.

I have moved my same cover from vehicle to vehicle since I purchased the black one two years ago... From a 2001 Camry, to a 2006 Camry, to a 2008 Camry Hybrid. When the 2008 Hybrid was totaled by a hit and run bozo last year, I almost forgot to retrieve it from the car! I was more thankful that my husband pointed that out than anything else in the vehicle. I haven't had any seams tear and it's held up very well.

Each time moving it to its new home has been a bear. It is very difficult to get it over the wheel, and it may cause feelings of despair, but really, it can be done. Having a second person hold it onto the wheel while you get that last bit over helps, but I've also done it solo. Once it's on it is very secure, and you don't have to worry about it slipping or moving around when you drive.
